If the blower suddenly quits turn off the a/c but leave the blower motor to the on position.If the system charge is good with the compressor "forced on" in this manner, but the car is getting hot, open the hood and listen to see if the compressor is engaged. Force it on with the wire and see if you start getting cold air in the car. If you do, the compressor works and likely the relay in damaged.
