Here is my method; with the magazine removed, pull the slide back and place an empty shell casing in front of the chamber, rim down and the casing standing up just like a stove pipe jam. Let the slide go forward locking the empty shell casing into place. Now, push the recoil plug in and simply turn the barrel bushing with your fingers.There is an online take down and re-assemby web site.
