I read where you need to remove the differential cover....and that the fluid is so thick it takes hours to refill. I bought the Cub Cadet HiTran fluid from one of the sponsors here. On my #2 125 I have one 26lb IH wheel weight per side but also have a full size battery and three 3/4" thick slabs of steel mounted out back. I got the 125 with the rear battery mod and the weight all added.

Oct 6, 2009 · Get some mechanic's wire and make a loop. Hook the front end of the spring to the tractor. Take the looped wire and hook it to the rear part of the spring (hook area). Have the mechanic's wire threaded through the area between teh frame and the transmission.

An easy check is to Watch the pump shaft that comes out the rear of the pump. It should spin with the even when you stop the tires. You might also want to check the charge relief valve to make sure it isn’t stuck partially open.
